About Martha

Martha’s passion for animals began at a young age. It was in these her early years that Martha began studying the behaviors of her own pets as well as those of the neighborhood cats and dogs. This experience proved to be invaluable as it eventually led Martha to a career in helping others improve communication with their pets.

Years later, Martha’s lifelong knowledge of cat and dog communication was tested with Little Bear, her golden retriever. Martha quickly recognized the stress behaviors exhibited by Little Bear and through her lifetime of experience was able to break him from his dysfunctional habits.

With continued research, Martha developed The Follow The Leader method which has helped many pet guardians improve their relationships with their dogs and cats.

Martha can be heard on numerous radio stations patiently answering the calls of frustrated pet owners. She also conducts individual and group classes to further demonstrate her method. She is also in the process of writing a book and developing a cd. Martha one day hopes to have her own television show one day!
